Dr. Sheikh graduated from SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine and completed his internship at the University of Rochester in Internal Medicine. Continuing his post graduate work at Massachusetts General Hospital and Yale University, Dr. Shams Sheikh specialized in neuroradiology. In addition, he has a special interest in acute stroke imaging and MR arthrograms thus complementing the staff at Open System Imaging. Dr. Sheikh is Board Certified in Radiology and Neuroradiology and has been the recipient of multiple awards throughout his academic career.
